Our correction standard

CreditUnionAI News distinguishes routine maintenance from substantive editorial change. Typography, accessibility and internal-navigation repairs that do not change meaning are retained in version history. Material updates, factual corrections and retractions receive a visible notice and permanent ledger entry.

How automated source checks work

Recent, high-traffic and Intelligence-linked articles receive frequent evidence checks. The full published archive is checked weekly. The system records healthy sources, redirects, temporary failures, removal, contradiction and supersession. An unavailable source is not treated as proof that reporting was wrong.

Visible notices

  • Update: material context or status changed, but the original reporting was accurate.
  • Correction: a fact, attribution, date, number, organization or status was wrong or materially misleading.
  • Retraction: the central premise cannot be supported or safely corrected. The URL remains available with an explanation.

Public correction record

No substantive corrections or retractions are currently recorded.

This ledger will populate automatically when a qualifying change is published. Tracker initialization and routine maintenance are not presented as corrections.

Sources and vendor claims

Reporting links to attributable evidence. Company assertions remain labeled as vendor claims until corroborated. Regulatory summaries link to the issuing authority and are not legal advice.
